Our record
NGC graded coins we handle
Coins of this kind that have passed through the shop, each one of one, photographed in the holder it sold in. If one of them is the coin you are after, tell us and we will look for another.

Looking for a particular coin?
Tell us the coin, the year and the grade. We source to order, and you have the price in writing before you commit to anything.
The desk is open 9am to 6pm, and a person answers.
Who NGC are
The Numismatic Guaranty Company is one of the two grading services recognised worldwide, alongside PCGS. A coin sent to them is authenticated, assessed for condition and sealed in a tamper-evident holder with a label stating what it is, what grade it was given and a unique certification number.
They are independent of the sale. Nobody at NGC gains anything from the grade being generous, which is the reason a sealed holder is worth more to a buyer than any description we could write ourselves.
Reading an NGC label
The label carries the coin's year and denomination, the grade with its PF or MS prefix, and any designation such as Ultra Cameo. Some labels also carry a release description, which records when the coin was submitted rather than anything about the coin itself.
The certification number is the part that matters most. It ties that label to that coin in NGC's own records, and it is how you confirm the holder in front of you is what it says it is.
Checking a coin before you buy it
Every graded coin listed here shows its certification number. Type that number into the grading service's own verification page and you will see the same coin, the same grade and the same holder, described by somebody with no stake in the sale. We would rather you checked.
Coins are sent sealed in the holder they were graded in. Breaking the holder ends the grade, so we never open one, and neither should you if the grade is part of why you bought it.
NGC and PCGS certified
Every graded coin arrives sealed in its original holder, with the certification number given when you enquire.
