Who is the controller

Folton Group Ltd, company number 13258379, of 118 Piccadilly, London W1J 7NW, is the controller of personal data collected through this site.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us, such as name, email address, telephone number and delivery address.
  • Order information, including what you bought and when, held for accounting and warranty purposes.
  • Identity verification documents where anti money laundering checks apply.
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser type, collected by our hosting and analytics providers.

We do not take payments on this website, and we never receive or store card numbers.

Why we use it

  • To perform the contract when you place an order, including delivery and after sales support.
  • To meet legal obligations, including tax records and anti money laundering requirements.
  • For our legitimate interests in running and improving the business, such as responding to enquiries and preventing fraud.
  • With your consent, to send stock alerts and occasional email. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

Each of these acts under contract and may only use the data for the service it provides to us. We do not sell personal data.

  • Our hosting provider. Serves the site and keeps short term server logs, which include IP addresses.
  • Google Fonts. The typefaces are requested by your browser from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
  • The service that delivers our forms. An enquiry or a stock alert signup is passed to the system we answer mail from, with what you typed into it.
  • Delivery carriers and our accountants. The address needed to deliver an order, and the records we are required to keep.

This list describes the site as built. It must be checked against the live deployment and the signed processor agreements before launch, and the named providers kept in step if any of them change.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to. Identity verification records are kept for five years after the end of the business relationship. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
